AirDoc VS. Airaid Tube

AirDoc VS. Airaid Tube
I was wondering if anyone is running either of these products. I have found the Airaid tube for as chep as $91 shipped and I found a 10% promo code so it's more like $82. Airdoc is $175 plus shipping. Price is only part of the decideing factor as performance is obviously more important. I noticed the bends are similar and then the tubes differ a little. Airdoc is true rounded bends/tube where airaid gets huge in the center and then tapers at the end.
Airaidcan improve airflow up to 400 CFM over the stock intake tube. It is made from cross-linked, high-density polyethylene for strength and durability. The M.I.T. straightens out airflow by providing a smooth, unrestricted path that increases airflow to the combustion chamber.
AirDocA 3.5" diameter steel (TIG welded pipe 2008 and up) mandrel bend design. Doc's system makes for a large volume of air flow from the inner fender outside the under-hood heat environment direct to the throttle body

I bought AirDocs for both my H2 and H3 and love them. The airraid on the H2 has no clearance near the fan and the plastic tube lands up hitting the fan and pops a hole in it. I have seen it happen three times already and actually gave my stock setup to one of the guys so he had air filtration instead of duct tape covering a quarter size hole in his POS airraid. Hope this helps

+1 for the Airdoc, a quality product that was carefully designed by someone with a love for these trucks. Doc will bend over backwards for you if you ever have any kind of issue. He went out of his way to do something as small as reverse stamp an antenna mount for me for my rear door so I could mount two antennas.

I have the airdoc on both my 03 and 07 H2's.
Mine is a massive beast and I saw approx .3-.6 MPG longterm...
My wife has seen 1mpg to 1.2mpg. Her H2 ranged anywhere from 11.6 to 12mpg and now she is 12.6-13mpg.
I have no experience on the Airraid other than sitting and waiting for the other guys in the group to stop and clean their filters and intake after we went through water and their engine started sputtering...

I had one custom made that looks very similar to the Airdoc, it was a replacement for an Airaid I had which insisted on giving me a massive headache everytime I was off road and even a couple times in heavy rain.
I use a K&N filter on mine
Never had a problem since.
The only difference between my custom one and the Airdoc is that mine is designed a bit longer, and sits the filter a bit higher and to the rear of where the Airdoc does.
