So far I’m happy with it, very minor feedback at low volumes but livable. May chase it later, next is removing the onstar module to put in the cubby and changing the climate controls. Not sure if the video attachment is going to work had to compress it a bunch.

Looks great! i did mine a few years back & its wired (lightning cable) for Carplay. Would love to have it wireless carplay, especially with iphones today using magsafe for charging/mounting. Sounds great on the video! What make/model is it for future reference? Also this place makes a great mount for the H2-s, just clips on & no destruction (you can add the magsafe charge base to it) - https://www.proclipusa.com/products/...r-h2-2003-2007

That's really smart, I've only seen the one that screws into the allen key bolt on the top near the vent. I think I'm going to put a wireless charger in the cubby when I delete onstar so that's where my phone will sit. However that mag safe mount is tempting, I just got my first mag-safe phone yesterday so I never looked into it.

They make a maglev with the charging cable or just as a mount. It mounts to that amp base that just clips/friction fits the side dash. No damage .They are slick for keeping charged and at a viewable angle and sturdy supported.

Very interested in the details of make/ model of the unit you installed and anything else you had to get to make it all work. Looks great and even better the steering wheel controls etc work.

Thanks much! Did you get noise source figured out? Let us know how it goes, I'm not jumping on this project yet so any updates will be appreciated by us all.

I have an Android to be installed however the Android harness has 1 connector matching one connector from the OEM radio but not one for the other OEM radio connector. Has anyone solved this. The connector that came with the Android fits the white connector in the picture but nothing for the black connector. Thoughts?
