2008 H2 140,000 Lux edition price?

Hey boys, Was interested in purchasing 08 H2 has about 140,000 miles. No rust, looks really clean, It’s a Lux edition 25K. Do you consider this a good price? Only a few hour drive for me to pick her up. Thx in advance, much appreciated.

Seems fair to me. I paid 31k for my 08 with 86,000 miles about a month ago. These things are valued all over the place, but from what I've seen that you can expect over $30k for mileage below 100,000, and under $20k for mileage over 200,000. So $25k for 140,000 seems about the sweet spot.

Condition goes a long long way on an H2 of any year. Documented service history also goes a long way as that lets you know if the prior owner bothered to take care of it.

Great call, been studying the car fax or the two models in looking into, noticed white one 08 last 5 years driving about 2000 miles a year, that’s good, min wear and tear, How often do good deals on the 2008-2009 model come around? my budget is 25 k, there are two ones out there now,lux package just don’t want this to be a missed opportunity. Thx

That does sounds like a good deal. Here is what I have been seeing recently for pricing for the 2008 and 2009 models in rough numbers - this is list pricing not negotiated. I have found though that Hummer owners love them and really don't like to negotiate. I have found Dealers also really don't like to negotiate on the lower mileage ones either as they don't last long on the lot.

<20k miles = $80k+
<30k miles = $70k+
<40k miles = $60k+
<60k miles = $50k+
100k-150k miles = $40k+
150k-175k miles = $30k+
175k-200k miles = $20k+

Since this version had such a limited run and 2009 only had like 3000 vehicles, you really want to focus on the condition of parts that are no longer available like interior components, dash components, etc.

Attached is the latest price trend report from car gurus. You will see that demand has risen pretty dramatically over the past couple years. The average price for a 2008 is $38k.

wow fabulous, really appreciate all you guys responding to a jr member, any tips for discussing price with dealers? I have only purchased 1 car before, bought my 19 Mitsubishi Outlander New from dealer last year. Been loving that car :) Looking back bad some stupid dealer fees I should have not paid, o well lesson learned

Gonna be tough to get the dealer to budge on a rare vehicle! 153k+ produced. yet, only around 5k '08-'09, combined. Not just the Hummer prices increased, ALL Used car prices have surged.

Here are the official sales numbers for the Hummer H2 from www.carsalesbase.com. Note that the H2 was discontinued in 2009, but most likely due to the recession, the Hummer H2 sales continued into 2010. I am guessing that prices are improving due to the relaunch of the Hummer brand.

> 2008 = 6,095 vehicles
> 2009 = 1,513 vehicles
> 2010 = 151 vehicles
