2006 H2 front impact sensor

Hello. I've been a mechanic for nearly 28 years, but I have an issue that I am unfamiliar with and I'm hoping someone can lead me in the right direction. I am working on a 2006 Hummer H2. It had a fault for one of the front impact sensors for the SRS system. I switched the two sensors and the fault changed sides indicating a bad sensor. I called my local Chevrolet dealer and gave them the part number listed on both the sensors. (15057506). It crossed to an 8559800. I installed the new sensor and immediately received a B0105 fault which indicated that the new sensor was incorrect (despite being the direct cross for the correct sensor that was still installed and functioning properly). I switched them side to side again and sure enough the fault followed the sensor. I called the Chevrolet dealer again and we looked it up off the VIN and found out that it was in fact not the correct sensor. We also found out that the correct sensor has been discontinued and is unavailable ( part numbers 1513531, 10370148, and 85597994). There is one at a dealer in Missouri, but it is already spoken for by a customer. I also called all of my aftermarket vendors with the same result. It is literally unavailable everywhere. I found a refurbished one that costed nearly 5 times what the list price is at Chevrolet (if it was available obviously). So, now I'm left with an H2 that I cannot get the part for that has a SRS light staying on. This is a vehicle that is to be sold and I cant sell it with that light on.

So, all that being said, I need to find a good/new sensor or I need to completely disable the SRS system. Any good advise would be welcome. Thank you!

That is a long time to just now be experiencing the first time you worked on an old vehicle. Did you test the crossed # new replacement?

Got a Pick n Pull nearby? Ever use ebay? How about Car-Part.com? Find a used part and get it done.

Haven't been able to locate a direct cross. One of my vendors is currently working with Dorman to find one.

Yes I tested the new one. The BCM wont recognize it as a good sensor. Haven't had the vehicle long. Tried ebay and every salvage/junkyard I can find.
