04 H2 Cluster Issue?
My cluster keeps dinging saying oil pressure low. I replaced the oil pressure sensor and had a GM mechanic read the oil pressure and they said the pressure came back normal and good. What could possibly be wrong now? Is it possible the cluster is broken? Thanks in advance!
Mmm never encountered this one.
The Oil Pressure Switch probably connects to an Electronic Control Unit, according to the wiring diagram it doesn't connect directly to the Instrument Cluster.
The data is most likely passed on electronically via comms and the cluster responds accordingly, its hard to see how it could do this in error, but nothings impossible.
Could it be a dodgy connector?
Did the GM guy check the pressure physically or electronically using a Tech2 or similar via the ODB2 port?
There is also and engine oil level sensor I believe, is it pressure or level?
