Who's using the 2" suspension lift?
I have found a few different kits and wondering who's running the 2" kit and are you happy with it?
What is the difference be between the $1800 Rubber duck kit vs just the spacers for $350-599 I see there is a ball joint angle shim. Is this nessasary with a proper alienment, or does it help with ball joint wear? http://www.rubberduck4x4.com/s.....it-c86.htm Can I get away with this, just the spacers for $350 http://bit.ly/12XcqrK Also will this negatively affect the handling offroad at steep angles? |
I would like to know this as well...

2" body lift is the cheapest and best lift. I don't like changing the angles with the suspension lift.

I am going to do a Cummins conversion and will also be running 40" - 42" tires. Thus, I will need the body lift to clear the engine, and the extra 2" suspension lift will be needed to clear the tires. Can the factory suspension settings be maintained while using the cheap kit? Is the only difference between the cheap one and the expensive one the extra shims? |
I haven't done a suspension lift but have done body lifts on a couple of H1s. PM hummech. He has done it all and can tell you the pros and cons of each.

3 hummers-
Which body lift kit do you like the best? Easiest install? Thanks, appreciate your knowledge. |
