Nothing major there - seems like a lot of replaced seals early on, and more failures than usual (fuel, hydroboost, vacuum pump) but nothing to panic about. The t-case cooler loop is a routine/upgrade, same with the t-case plug. Idler and Pitman wear is common.

Is this what I have to look forward to in the next couple years, lol? Or hopefully most of the kinks were worked out?

you will notice that most of the folks on the H1 portion of this board also populate the humvee.net board.... which has all of the H1 info on it.....

H1s required regualr service and maintenance. That is part of the deal when you buy one. Nothing on that list scares me at all. No service records beyond the ones you posted? Engine swap, HVAC replacement, etc?

Sure I understand they require maint... I spent 6 years in the Army, actually worked in the motorpool too with all the HUMMVS. Unfortunately for me it was in the supply field ordering all the replacement parts for them and not actually working on them. As a driver was required to do a weekly and monthly PMCS (Preventative Maint and I can remember the "C"Schedule). I plan on buying the maint CD to help me.
Nothing past what I put up above, how could I get further records? I askedthe dealer (not a hummer, just a used car place) to talk to previous owner and see about service records on it. No updated HVAC though cuz I have the old style control panel with the 2 buttons on it (a/c and retriculation).
Not sure on the engine... I did get a 4 yr 100,000 mile additional warranty on the engine (including turbo) transmission, and all gaskets and seals (not sure if its for the whole truck or just the engine though) for $1000 well worth it I am sure.

I love my 97 wagon. It was my DD for awhile. Now it is my trail truck. I have the original HVAC and block and have had no real issues. Normal stuff, a few T case rebuilds, ***** joints, etc. It has been a real good truck. I think you will really like yours.

If I were to put my truck's history on here.... well I would need a few pages worth of space.
I have to say that yours isn't bad at all.

OK.
Speaking of Maintenance, could anyone direct me to a source for a 2002 H1 Schedule of Maintenance? Could I get it on CD/DVD? Hard Copy?
