Got a 1997.5 TD. I accidently ran it low on fuel one day. i parked it and when I went to leave, it wouldnt start. I know how diesels work and knew I was screwed. I have 11 years in the army and have seen some run out of fuel before, so I did what we always did and just dumped a fuel can into it. I let it prime 5 or 6 times and it fired right up. I never did bleed the injector lines. Now it stalls out intermittently(spelling) I may go several days with no problems. Then all of a sudden, it will just cut off going down the road or when i let off the throttle making a turn, which can get scary because of the loss of power steering. It starts right back up but usually stalls back out a few times. And then it may run fine for a few days. The IP was replaced about 4000 miles ago, along with a heat-sinked PMD, and the fuel pump up on the fire wall. Any suggestions?
