H1 engine swap
I am in the process of purchasing and customising my own H1.
I want to drop out the gas guzzling 6.5-liter turbodiesel and replace it with the new Ford turbocharged 3.5 liter V6. The trouble is I am not a full blown mechanic and I'm not sure if the Ford engine would be compatible and fit in the Hummer.
I have everything on hold until I get this question answered because if I can't find a suitable engine, with good MPG, torque, & horsepower, than the entire concept is in the trash.
Please let me know any information you have on this subject!

Nope. Don't know anything about that power train and have never heard of anyone making that swap. I would not advise it. You would spend a lot of money and have a truck that was worth less than you paid for it.
