Not updating forum sections
 

For some reason I can't get the latest forum threads to show up. I see the newest thread listed but when I open that particular section to see the thread it's not there and a 2 or 3 yr old thread is at the top of the page.:confused:

User CP, edit options, thread display options, display newest thread first.

For some strange reason mine "reset" itself to all of the default settings about 6 months ago (display oldest thread first, etc). All I saw were the old posts in the for sale threads. That's when I discovered it.

and I appreciate the guidance,i don't know how you guys find this stuff!.
but I tried it,then restarted my connection ,went to general hummer,,,did not get the newest post and did get a mix of dates out of order,newer but not in order. ??

oops!!,this came in out of order!!

That's really weird. Did the same thing. Logged out and logged back I n and everything is reset back to having the posts in a jumbled order too?

Krap, you got me on this one. Maybe a PM to the forum administrator?

I usually just hit the "new posts" box or use the "search".

Mine is still jumbled not sure what is wrong. Made the changes Tainter suggested but still having problems

mine still looks like they use the "lottery"ball machine for dates!!
if i clik on a new post directly i get it. if i clik on the main thread,like h3 its scrambled??

oops,not h3 but others.

Go to whatever forum section you want, look at the blue bar across the top of that section of threads, click on "Last Post" in the blue bar over the column displaying the date/time/by who the post was made. It will then display the threads by the last post on top chronologically.
