half of door locks are inop
I have an H2. It is a 2003 model. I am having a problem with my door locks. When I hit the lock button (whether it be the remote or the driver door switch) only the front 2 doors will lock. It will not lock the others. I have to manually lock the back doors. If I hit the unlock button it will unlock everyhting. Any Ideas? Also....the back hatch works intermitantly and the back lock/unlock button in the hatch area is doing the same thing....Any ideas?

Janet,
Since I can't check it out, I would suggest you have the solinoid checked out. If the solinoids check out you may have a bad/loose ground in the wiring. Solinoids are a few bucks (relative term) and generally easy to swap out. Juat make sure that all the wires go back in the same slots

Probably not a solenoid but probably the door lock relay pretty easy to replace but kind of pricey at around 30 bucks a pop, you only need one right now but the other probably isn't' far behind.
Location should be in the compartment behind the battery, when you take the cover off it has a schematic so it shouldn't be hard to find. Just swap the front for the rear to test.
