Car & Driver Says the EV 3x has 1000HP and can be had with 380 miles battery
 

As the title say, Car & Driver says that the Hummer EV 3x 2024 has 1000HP and can be had with an extended range of 380 miles. When I go on the GM website, I only see a 830HP version with just about 300 miles. Did Car & Driver test a 2025 unit or did GMC scrap that version?

The thread was moved into this new sub forum but it seems the answers didn't transfer over so I am giving a short summary of the answers. I am only interested in the SUV. It turns out, the SUV EV 3x cannot be had with the 1000HP option. For the Hummer EV 3x 2024 SUV the max is 830HP. The Hummer EV 3x 2024 Pickup can be had with the 1000HP option. It required the larger battery some some particular wheels (22" but I don't recall which 22").

GM like others, is still working out the details on the EV and battery technology.

Since the battery layout is across the bottom on the frame. Breakthru in battery tech is the key to All EV going forward with mileage distance.

24 hrs to fully charge the Duracell on this GMC ev3 😳 on a battery that weights almost a wooping 3000lbs
So doing the math it takes 60min that is 1 hr to put a charge in for 15miles.

Jury is still out for the EV craze...

Wait for the next gen breakthru in Battery Tech.

Those are just true facts from GMC it self.
Hoping for the true EV drivers under us that one day it will be a self charging EV till then it’s still an attack on the environment.
