Do both sides have to be lifted at the same time? I tried on the ground and the bolt won't budge, then lifted the drivers side and tried, [sm=badbadbad.gif]still no budge?
Not sure. If there is a swaybar (which I think there is) it will be transferring some force over. I had both sides up at the same time and a pretty big socket wrench and it still wasn't easy.

NICE write up!!!

Cranked up the Alphatoday. Took about 2 hours total with adding shocks. 5 turns on theDRSD and 4 1/2 on the PSSD.Ended up at23 3/4". It sits just a touch lower on the front vs the rear. Mine was off about 1/2" from the factory from drsd to pssd.

The Congitos are great! I'm going to add the Rancho 9000's to the rear to even out the ride a little more.

Alos, I think I am going to modify the stock perch for the bumperstop and try to extend it so it rests back where they belong.

I should have taken a measurment before I started. What was the stock height before the lift? I tihnk this should be listed here as well.

Great "how to" write up, i got the extended shocks and extended bumper stops from http://www.trailduty.com/product_inf...roducts_id=765, took a couple hours to crank up the bars and then install the shocks and bump stops.......

Doc,

Wouldn't tire wear change your measurement to the center of the hub?

This is a great post. Save your money on a leveling kit. Just replace the shocks. Do you have any advice for body roll?

No, tire wear would not play a role in the measurement between hub center and a predetermined location on the body. They are mechanically connected so the amount of tread would not change the spring length or torsional pull on the suspension. As far as forgetting about the leveling kit, you may be correct. However, the leveling(via the prescribed directions)is very useful if you ever take your H3 on anything worse than fire roads. It does provide a margin of ground clearance when getting into some deep areas.

I have a question though. Will taking the H3 off-road through these measurements back off?
