I fitted the Ready lift 2.25 levelling kit with ARB Old Man Emu Shocks all round to my 09 H3T. All works great, I use 285/75R16 BFG's most of the year, in winter I put on some 305/70/R16 MT & it's clear their is plenty of room for more rubber - I'm sure 35's will look great

I curious to know.... Do you use the leveling shocks in addition to torsion adjustments, or in place of doing the torsion adjustments?

Also, how long are the factory shackles for an 08 H3? and if adding aftermarket shackles, what are the length on them?

Please do some searches on leveling the H3, there are 4 bazillion posts on it. Same thing with rear leaf shackles, but not as many threads.

You do NOT need new shocks to level the front, but you can add them if you choose, as well as extended bump stops. Best option is to adjust the front to where you want if (Max= 23.5" fender lip to hub center), get an alignment, then decide if you want different shocks, shackles, bump stops.....

Thanks Doc Olds. I do want to level the H3 out and optimize the performace of the suspension without sacrificing handling and ride comfort. I have looked at several post, just was not clear on if the shocks would do the lifting or if I had to turn the keys on the torsion bars. I read on a post here that the best way to do the leveling was to just get some leveling shocks and not waste the money on those kits that sold the keys and required extensions therefore comprimising the handling of the suspension.

Shocks do NOT provide lift, they only dampen the suspension movement. You turn the OEM T Bar bolts (adjust them) for lift, as little or as much as you want up to the max of 23.5".

Leveling kits are a useless waste of $$, you got that correct.
