Looking to see if anyone knows if the factory headrest DVD system #19166113 will work in an 05H2. Part number says 08-09, but Ive had one dealer tell me yes, one no, and one not sure...lol?

Any help appreciated.

 

Pretty sure there was no factory headrest DVD available for the 08-09's--as far as I could ever tell they only ever put those cheesy drop down roof units in the new H2's.
My 07 came with headrest DVD's with "HUMMER" that comes on the screens when turned on. Each monitor has a built in DVD player to watch separate movies, or you can use the remote to watch one movie on both screens while listening to it over the truck stereo. Really nice set-up.
The factory '06 H2's had dual headrest monitors, but the DVD player itself was in the center console taking up room. You could only play one movie for both screens, which kinda blows.
If you really want a good answer, shoot me the part number in a PM and I'll look more into it for you. This has me curious----I'd like to learn if there really was factory headrests available for 08-09.

 

Can someone confirm if the 08-09 Hummer H2 came with the OEM DVD headrest option?

The 09 Hummer H2 brochure is vague on this detail.
