Default Service tpm?

i noticed that my tire pressure light is constantly on as well as the SERV TPM.i put 30PSI as stated in the manuel and the light is still on. Your thoughts?

bad battery, or check the spare tire... also it has the stock wheels correct?

yes the spare if flat..it has sensors also?

yeah sometime all 5 tires have the sensors and that would do it.

i put air in the spare and still same issues,anything else?

Did you give it time to reset? Sometimes you need to give it a minute... If it persists I could be one of he snesors is goi g bad or the battery is dying

thanks i will monitor it for a day or so-i waited about an hour & it still shows serv tpm.....dont think its the battery as the truck starts perfect...bummer.thanks again

Your vehicle only reads 4 channels on your TPMS. The early models did have a sensor in the spare, the later ones did not. In any event it will only read the 4 on the ground. Try doing the re-learn described in you owners manual. If that does not work you likely have a bad sensor. The battery another poster mentioned was the battery in the sensor and not the vehicle battery.

There is no sensor in my spare and 30psi will trigger the tire pressure light. if you increase the pressure to about 33psi it should go off. did you do a tire rotation with out the relearn? that will also do it.
