Cool

This is being spurred on by the new Military Humvee contract with each unit costing taxpayers about $150-250K depending on the variant. In the long run this could be worth over $2B in US sales with a lot of foreign interest as well. Doubt you'll ever see anything related to the H2 or H3 hitting the consumer market. There just isn't enough interest out there.

GM folded on the Hummer line when cultural pressure from leftists and so called environmentalist decided that Al Gorian philosophy was correct and big trucks were very wrong...

Interesting how you now see monster Ford Raptors and other Big rigs and no one seems to care.

Hope to see a come back but the H2 may never.

I think GM is making a mistake not bringing back HUMMER, same thing with Toyota not bringing back the FJ Cruiser (there is the 4Runner but it just ain't the same). As previously mentioned all I see nowadays are large SUVs, trucks, and an ungodly amount of wranglers. Seriously I see those wranglers everywhere now. Ford is bringing back the bronco which is a great move on their part but GM is just sitting here letting Jeep dominate this offroad SUV market while they have an iconic brand with the slogan "Like nothing else" just sitting on the sidelines. I get it that HUMMER is the poster boy of inefficient vehicles killing the environment (I guess let's just ignore the fact that the H3 is basically just as efficient as any other vehicle made in its time). Anyways I think people would eat up a new HUMMER, personally I'd like to see them bring back the H2 and H3 with a bit of an update while still sticking to the core principles but honestly I'm not sure if it'll happen. In the meantime, I'm gonna do everything I can to be sure that my H3 lasts as long as I can get it to.

The next Hummer, if it happens, will be battery powered.
