I'm looking at buying the car mentioned in the title, it has had one owner and is in immaculate cosmetic condition.

Do you think $8500 would be a fair price?

What would be a fair price in your mind if not?

How long can the cars last usually?

I'm a real novice and appreciate all your expert advice.

 

I would not buy anything with 200k+ miles.

That said, it is a 10 year old high miles truck, are you planing on doing all the wrenching? If you are not capable, get something else, newer and lower miles.

 

Unless it has a brand new engine and transmission or something, I think 8500 is way overpriced for that amount of miles. I just sold my 07 H3 for 10.5k with 119k miles and untold thousands in upgrades

 

I found my '08 luxury with adventure with only 51k miles - there are low mile options out there for more money but grab one of those. If you aren't sure about it read through the forums - you will see why a lower mileage option is the best and mine even has an issue I'm trying to solve. I cant imagine the issues with 4 times the mileage.
