Black Trim Restoration

Hi everyone,
I made a video detailing the trim restoration I did on my 2009 Hummer H2. I used a product called solution finish and I was impressed. I've been using mothers Back to Black for years, so, I was excited to try something new. So far this product brings a much more vivid black than the mother's brand product (solution finish contains carbon). I will update with information on how it holds up. I'm located In Florida so we get large amounts of both sun and rain, which, are brutal on black trim.

marvel mystery oil.

ive use marvel mystery oil to turn sun faded black trim back to black. works great. my uncle is real old skool and he always swore by hydraulic fluid very thinlt because it actually soaks in. vinyl is made with oil once the oil deteriorates it tends to fade and crack. just an fyi

Another secret sauce is Floetrol Flood paint conditioner, seriously. It does work great but only last a few months. One I've also used in the past which is pretty good is Carworx Refinish Restore. I had just noticed this thread and I actually just got another type in I'm going to try which is Blak by Renew Protect.
