remove factory stereo instructions for H3?

RE: remove factory stereo instructions for H3?
To remove the factory stereo, you have to remove the center dashboard console. This console just snaps in and out, so all you need to do is pop it out. I removed mine using the following method:
1. Look for the two DC power ports on the bottom right of the center console. Open the covers.
2. Using a pair of pliers and a piece of cloth (to prevent scratching), stick each side of the pliers in each hole. Squeeze and pull gently. The console should pop out on the bottom right.
3. All you have to do is slowly pull out the console after that.
This website also shows you how to do it, although that guy used his fingers instead of a pair of pliers:

Can't help you with the XM radio. I don't use mine.

either put your pointer and middle finger in the 12v. plug holes and pull out the radio bezel or take a plastic spoon and starting at the top right corner, slowly pry out the bezel working your way around the entire unit.
The XM is behind the glove box area I believe.
