I bought a brand new GM OEM Navigation Radio for my 2003 H2. I am checking to see if anyone has some installation tips or instructions for this. I wondering if there are any tips or tricks that I should be aware of. Just some FYI as many of you all know Hummer didn't start installing the Navigation into the H2 i believe until 2006. I contacted my local dealer and they inform me that a new OEM navigation system should install with no issues as long as it was the GM PART# 17801147. I wondering if any others have installed this kit in older models H2 with success. I'm curious to know where you installed GPS antenna?

Hey, i also bought a brand new oem navi, having problem. Radio does not want to function wth the amp. All hummer h2 has bose system and all hv lux. So does any1 hv any similar problem's.

 

I put a 2006 nav unit in my 2003 h2. I bought a used unit and a new XM module from GM. I installed the GPS ant and XM unit under the right side of the dash just like where the factory mounted them. The ony trouble I ran into was the GPS wouldn't work until I ran a speed senor wire from the dash to nav connector. It was a lot of work but it was worth it. I would not hesitate to do it again.
