Defect Summary:	Certain vehicles were assembled with an incorrect combination of steering-gear-to-frame attachment hardware.
Consequence Summary:	This condition may result in steering gear loosening and, possible separation from the frame. if this happens, there will be a complete loss of vehicle steering which could result in a crash.
Corrective Action:	Dealers will inspect the vehicle for the proper steering gear hardware assembly, and correct if necessary. the recall began on october 9, 2006. owners may contact am general at 1-866-486-6376.
