Hello,

Can I get a show of how many H2 owners run E85 or E50 with a flex fuel conversion kit? If so please share the impact. Thanks.

p.s. could not find anyone through search who actually has a e85

I doubt anyone on here has a 'conversion' kit - However, Hummer has announced they will be the first brand to offer E85 options across its entire lineup...

I recently saw a special on tv about the future of fuel and what we could expect.  On the show they mentioned converting a vehicle to run on E85, said it would tale about $100.00 to do it.  After the show I did a search for a kit and found that the EPA has made it illegle for anyone to offer a E85 conversion kit.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a long-standing prohibition on converting the engine of a standard gas-burning vehicle into one that runs on E85 or other alternative fuels. States like Minnesota are currently testing E85 conversion kits and are formally requesting that the EPA drop their ban.

E85 is another Political scam. It might just slightly cheaper but you need more of it to go the same distance. I have some interesting reading if you like, it will give you some insight on the E85 "revolution". I couldn't upload the pdf files.

I don't know about the politics involved, but what most people don't realize is that you get worse milage with E85, must worse. True, E85 is better for the environment and it is cheaper, but is it really a better alternative to straight gasoline? Here's a link to a good article:
