Hey Hilljob. What's the diameter of that tube? I was thinking about doing something similar, but just haven't had the time.  I don't have time to make one for myself, let alone everybody else lol.

ok,ok,here are some #'s.
it came in stock at 217 hp and 222 torque, this was the baseline basically
with just the k&n,it made 224 hp and 230 torque, =7hp gain 8 torque gain
with the k&n and the tube,it came in at 232 hp and 242 torque =15 hp gain and 20 torque gain
with just the tube it came in at 225 hp and 233 torque =8 hp gain and 11 torque gain

these were the numbers he gave me,i wasnt able to be in the room when it was done, insurance reasons or something, not sure, but all in all, came out great in my eyes, and the throttle response seems to be alittle better with the tube as well.i hope this helps you all.i am going to put a sell thread in the 4 sale,so if anyone wants one, here ya go

Did your dyno operator reference the numbers back to the flywheel (i.e., BHP)?  Do you have some graphs you can post?

I know adding a K&H air intake will not affect the warentee but will it matter if it home made or not? Or should I slap the Rez Box back of if I need to bring it in?

Interesting numbers!!      I was guestimating that a K&N filter itself would be 3-5hp tops, should have gave the filter a smidge more credit aye.

Thanks hilljob...........or is that.........     hillious jobeos?       Jaba da hill?
