I was just curious to see if anyone on here has installed or knows of any information on the raptorq computer. I have only heard of it from one website and that is predatorhummer.com. I was curious to see if it was worth spending 600 for the upgrade or doing pcmforless. Also the Raptorq computer claims to get upwards of 40hp gain do you guys find this possible with just the computer?

Thanks for any of your wisdom

I have seen really big gains upwards of 50 to 60 hp with just a computer upgrade and it seems believable to give you an extra 40hp. I dont know, but I use superchips and you can notice the difference

The way I see it is if you pay 3 times more for the raptorq you get 3 times more hp. I have the raptorq because if I'm going to get a certain upgrade I might as well go all out.

don't see how you can get 40 hp from a chip or pcm only.....this isn't a diesel. Maybe with an intake, exhaust and a tune requiring a high octane fuel it *MAY* be possible. BUt then I would also get a 180 degree t-stat if burning a hotter fuel.....one thing leads to another, just not worth it IMO.

About 10-14. I'm with importkiller on this one, 40hp seems quite outlandish tune-only on an H3.
