I had the same thing happen to my SUV but on the driver door. Idiot stuck something (probably a screwdriver) in the key hole and ripped out the entire key hole. I thought it would be alot more expensive, but my dealer only charged my $35 to fix it.

I guess I have been lucky I havent had any problems with break ins or vandalism. I have seen pics of what tree huggers have done to lots of H2's. I bought my SUT in october 05 and I may have locked the doors a dozen times if that since. I havent taken the key out of the ignition in over a year now. My Girlfriend says Im just looking for trouble... maybe I am.  I don't know about you guys but I would love to  catch someone in my H2.   Even better if they stole the whole truck  I could use my "snitch" to track them and plan a proper revenge my style no cops needed... 3 years ago someone removed my entire "fly window assembly" frame and all from my K5 blazer!! didn't damage anything they put the door panel and loose nuts in a nice pile on the back seat!! whoever did it was a pro and it really didnt bother me. You could tell the guy respected the truck but just needed a dam window. My S10 on the other hand was broken into at the mall and it was a smash and grabb job they only got CD's and a few hand tools. GOD DAM ROOKIES!!!  Honestly whats this world coming too?  DOES no one take pride in their trade anymore? I guess it depends on the thief but regardless getting robbed sucks.  I recommend an attack dog over an alarm anyday, can you play fetch with your Viper?

I would check into the Gun Laws in your area ans see if Smith & Wesson and Remington or Tazer can help you out. "The Right to bear Arms" Baby!! unless you live in Comee State, MD, NJ, CA to name a few.

Here is a way to find parts; http://www.gmparts-direct.com/

There wouldnt be much left to shoot once my Shepherd got a hold of him.  I think my dog loves my H2 more then I do...  I grew up seeing military Humvees  all day My father drove one as a work truck for years as a civilian employee. I think a 50 cal. Turret Option is not to much to ask from GM. Call me crazy but i think it might sell better then they might think. I know I would!!!

Im in NY the guns laws a kinda tuff around here. If its not legal its not worth having they will throw your ass in jail for a year first time no questions asked. I had a little run in with the Law this time last year. I guess I looked like a drug dealer cause Im in a H2... during their search an officer saw the handle of a Winchester knife in my tool box and thought it was a gun!!!!  HOLY SH..!!! they went insane!!! Everything went crazy they had guns to my head!! Slammed me to the ground stepped on my head and I wasnt resisting.  After they realized it was a $10 knife from walmart they wanted to still charge me with possesion of a deadly weapon!!. Thank god One new level headed officer showed up and let me explain. It was obvious that it was a work knife. the company name engraved on it finally eased their minds.  IM MOVING TO CANADA!!!!
