Here's a pic of the hooks on my H3. I haven't seen another set like it yet. They look to be like 1 1/2 stainless tubing and I think it gives it a pretty "pissed off" look. Thinkin the company that makes may make some other kool stuff. Anyone?

Teaka Has 'em for $118.59

I hate to say this, but I saw a similar product in Home Depot earlier today. There, they
were toilet assist rails for the handi-capped. Twelve bucks a rail I believe. Might have
to play around with a way to mount 'em to the hood panel........

I agree, i like the finger grip hood handles. Only problem is if i have hood handles i think the hood should open forward. I'm sure it could be done, has anyone seen a suicide h3 hood? Seems like too much work for a non-show truck though.

Probably like mine?

Those are handles, not hooks BTW.

No offense to anyone that has them... its your ride do your thing..
But I chuckle everytime I see those as the whole hood vent piece serves no purpose as it is, then to have handles on it is even funnier.

But I'm riding pretty plain jane so I'm sure that gets a chuckle from others as well. That's the great thing about the H3. Same ride, many flavors.

i agree, the handles would be lame since the hood doesn't open towards the front

i also wish the air intake was actually up on the hood  intead of those being fake too

I concur.  On real HUMVEE's this is where the radiator is and it's functional.  I understand why GM put them there but I wish they did have a function.
