Just got back from a 1200 mile trip and the windshield did a lot of "chirping" at interstate speed, i.e., rubber-on-glass chirping noise, like it was jiggling in its seal.   Pretty annoying.  Anyone else experience this?  Will dealers act on it?  (Forum search turned up air leak noise but not this.)

I've had this happen many times when I've had my windshield replaced. They had to come back and replace the windshield until they got it right. And this happened always on my GM vehicles never on anything else.

Maybe your's was replaced before going on the dealer lot and they don't have it sealed all the way.  Real common on replacements.

There's nothing more annoying then driving on a road tirp with your windshield making noise.

YES!!  I have this problem now on mine.  I called it a humming noise but like u said it sounds like rubber on glass which led me to think it was my windshield wipers vibrating on the windshield.  It only happens when i get up high than 60 mph.  Hope someone finds out what this is, because it is annoying!

When they change out your windshield WATCH THEM. makke sure they clean out the old mastic from the frame and put in enough new goop to seal it evenly. I've been burned by this before by glass weenies trying to work too fast and doing a sorry job.

Had the same issues, took it to the dealer and they replaced the window seal.

Yes, I'm very satisfied.  On these forums the primary topics are always the little problems folks are having -- and how to address them.  That's what you'd expect and likely see on any vehicle forum.
