It's staying overnight again.... another emmissions issue.... they said it will be covered under warranty....

Rental is a Chevy Malibu....

The power steering issue is slightly better just because they jacked up the pressure in the tires thinking I'm far too stupid to realize that....

So.... looking over the notes.... I see that the first part that cost me was due to code P0446.....

Now.... the light came back on within 100 miles (10 starts) and when it just went back they found code.... you guessed it.... P0446 again.

What am I missing here??  Was I screwed on the first diagnosis.... or did they do me a favor by covering the second thing??

The first repair was a vent solenoid..... the second repair was R&R the evap canister.....
