I used the stock air box and added the K&N Performance cone.  Then I ordered two 4"x 3.35" reducers and a 4" intake duct.  The 4" duct is smooth inside unless you add a bend.  As you will notice I've only have a few slight bends.  I also picked up 4 stainless clamps to hold it together plus about about 18" of clear braided emission hose.

I'm pleased with the results.  This now gives me a CAI, Dual exhaust and tuned PCM.  Any questions?

When you step on it does it sound like this:   LOOOK Iiiiiiammmm Youuuur Faaaatttherrrrrr?  Like a scuba regulator??    Nice job, I like it.   How long was the intake tube and what was your source, I got a handle on the rest?

I got the reducers here.  I need to find my source for the flex duct.

Here it is eBay but I bought direct for about $26.

You really don't hear much difference with this type of setup. The ones that are really noisy are the ones that use an air dam against the hood. The stock breather box keeps intake noise down and it is a true cold air intake as it snorkels out to the right fender so it is NOT breathing engine compartment air.

That's a really cool setup there Vader, you say you got a coned K&N to fit on the stock box? Mine is a K&N barrel type. I have the K&N cone filter than came with the 06 K&N set but it doesn't fit the factory breather box filter mounting ring.

Possibly a small difference.  The total package of CAI, exhaust and PCM has a positive reading on my butt dyno!!
