Gooseneck Hitch

mickdund -> Gooseneck Hitch (10/14/2007 7:12:19 PM)

I'm thinking of buying a H2 2003 and up,I only own gooseneck trailers

is it possible to install a hideaway gooseneck ball on a H2 SUT?

I don't haul heavy loads with my trailers,also I figure the performance

would be lacking,so would it need to have a performance programmer or

chip installed.Thanks for any help

There are companies that make adapters that go under the trailer tongue that allow you to tow gooseneck trailers with any regular hitch

Ok I've been thinking of this Tomp,your saying that a long adapter for a gooseneck,would ride on a bumper tongue?I have never seen that done ,if thats what your talking about,I don't believe that would be safe.

sorry, but that's not what I was talking about. These things I am referring to are big with wheels on them. and they are safe design. Like this: http://www.tiny1.net/hitchbuddy.jpg

i personnaly wouldnt put a goosneck hitch in a sut,its easier just to get a different trailer in my mind

kinda looks like the same design as on the pup trailers.....  it would work... but you would pay for an extra axle at every toll....
