I think there will be aftermarket front lockers available (when being the question), I have seen blurbs in the off road fodder that it is being looked into. Somebody posted a thread about a quick disconnect rear sway bar set up for the 3, I could find it if I wanted to look. Not gonna do much about straight axle in the front though, we are stuck with the IFS, smoother for on road. I gotta go drive one of them 4Dr Wranglers just to check it out, wonder if they mind if it comes back covered in mud???? There is a monster construction site only a couple miles from the Jeep dealer near me.

It goes to 20mph professor, but I note your point as a good one. Here is a serious question for ya. Do you think the four door Rubi is better than the 2 door for most situations?? I don't mean hauling more people/stuff, I mean terraine wise. Many times a little longer wheel base is better, but not always. What ya think of that????

How is a longer wheelbase an advantage?

I don't hate Jeeps... I hate Jeep owners.... and not all of them just the ones that think they bought something that bone stock is Rubicon Ready.... it is not a rare type either... I meet them all the time.... I like to wheel... and having owned a few 4x4's the Hummer is the best overall that I have ever owned.... bone stock.

Nope not a troll at all. Just trying to gain some insight. I'm not the one who said either or was better, just asking the obvious questions.

I doubt gooch is a troll because he didnt say anything like "well jeeps are a lot better than hummers" or "the FJ can outperform the hummer in every way"

ORIGINAL: importkiller in some situations yes weight will give you an advantage...some times, the lighter the better. Anyone that says a hummer is more capable than a rubicon is very misinformed. umm...How is a rubicon wrangler more capable than an H2 or H1. I cannot imagine the Approach and Departure can be better on a rubicon? Or the ground clearence? I am talking stock from the factory. I am assuming maybe you are compairing the h3 to the rubicon? Also I assume that you do own both vehicles? EDIT: Sorry as I did not see all of the posts b4 I posted this.
