What does "it" do?  Are you talking about the CV Axel?

thats where the cv joing bolts to your axle which im guessing is a cv axle shaft

It look as though your axle seal is the problem,not the CV boot.
Do you have any gobbs of greenish grey grease flung anywhere?

It just looks like seeping axles seal easy fix.

Harbor Seal,  Arr Arr!!!      Axel shaft.  Looks like you got enough room there for an easy fix.

Muddydawg75 -> RE: What's this seal called? (10/8/2007 4:16:20 PM)

It's under warranty.... I just didn't want to sound like a giant douche when I called the dealer....

no great green globs of greasy grimey gopher.... I mean grease.....  just a lil seep.... and the front pumpkin wasn't even low.....

45-1.00 hour tops for it to be completed under warranty.get it checked and fixed.

Not sure I follow you???? This seepage is not a big issue by no means and
even if it's not under warranty, 25 dollar seal with 2 hour(amature) labor it's fixed.

Muddydawg75 -> RE: What's this seal called? (10/10/2007 4:32:42 PM)

I'd fix it myself if it isn't under warranty....  I'm just lazy after fixing other peoples crap all week....
