Does anyone have a diagram for the factory Monsoon amp in the rear? I'm wiring up an aftermarket amp, and need to know the positive and negative wires for the sub input, and I also need a switched 12V power wire. Thanks!

Are there there 3 seperate amps, or just 3 different plugs?

Most likely you have C1 going from your head unit to the amp and C2 leaving your amp out to the speakers.

don't use the factory power and ground wires for a new amp!!!!! They are too small of a gauge wire and will limit your new amp.

importkiller, I'm not. I just need to wire up an LOC to the Monsoon amp signal wires. Does anyone know an easy remote turn on wire I can tap? Thanks.

Thats what I was thinking, but the wiring diagram posted above says "NOT 12 VOLT" (look at the radio connector chart at the bottom). I know some new vehicles have a 5 volt turn-on system, so I'm guessing this might be the same way. It has to be 12 volts to trigger the amp. My DMM battery was dead, so I couldn't check it.

The "not 12v" comment was something I scribbled into my manual. Therefore, you should double-check. Let me know, so I will update my manual. If you do indeed find that it is under 12v, you could use a low voltage trigger like this one from PIE.

I will let you know later tonight. I put a regular test light on it yesterday, and the bulb lit up nice and bright. It appeared to be 12 volts.
