I tried to stay out of this one but I just can't. I have had Euro and Jap cars before. Some were pretty decent cars. Suprisingly to most people my worst car experiences have been with imports.I am an American only car buyer because for me they have been the best cars. I had a Toyota that was a POS. I had a new 745 BMW that was the worst car I have ever owned.( or anyone I have ever known has owned ) If you want to get a G35 or 37 go ahead. I have three friends that bought them and one still has his and loves it. To me it is just another car that looks like every other car on the road...nothing special. I have a 2008 H3 Alpha, 2006 H1 Alpha, 1997 H1 wagon, 2003 50th Anniversary Corvette convertible and a 2001 F-250 4x4. Not sure I will ever own another foriegn car. If America makes something I like as well as what anybody else makes I am buying American. As far as I am concerned nobody makes a better 4x4 than Hummer. ( no disrespect to the Jeepers as I have had several of them ) If you like the G car buy it but I wouldn't expect a lot of understanding about the decision on the Hummer forum. People are very passionate about some cars. Hummers and Corvettes fall into that group. I don't know anyone with an Infiniti that is passionate about the car. Enjoy the car and when you get the urge to drive something distinctive and get it dirty we will see you back here on the forum.

Greenshirt...lighten up dude!!! It was all in fun, just like Tex H3 said. What's with all the "political correctness" anyway. All in fun. I own a 2007 Sonoma red H3X with ALL the bells and whistles. I would not trade it for a rice burner ...that's for sure...

If JAP is considered to be not so PC, would one also consider calling one from Britian a "Brit" in the same way? Personally I don't see the term Jap as derogatory, I think it could be depending on the context used but really guys, all I want to do is take my H3 to Toyko and show'em how to DRIFT a real ride.

Some of these posts are a bit late, aren't they. Just wake up from a cryogenic freeze? j/k FYI- I was never that worked up to begin with. Was just throwing my sh*t in the ring like everyone else. And I guess you didn't read the whole thread, as there were "lightened up" posts from me after my initial reply. I don't allow myself to take things too seriously, especially when conversing on a forum. It usually just causes unecessary stress and ongoing debate that no one "wins". That said, I still think that many of the comments in this thread are ridiculous. And I don't think it's so much a politcal correctness issue, as much as it's a immaturity issue. But hey, I'm taking it light man. quote:

Hey, don't some of you want to go waste some quality time in the "NO COAT HANGERS" thread. I bet that one is getting exciting!

Just out of curiosity..whats the longest thread on this board? are we getting close? I see new posts...I know they are of no interest to me...yet i cant help but click just to see what else is going on. Like a rubberneck passing the flaming wreckage on the highway, I secretly hope to see some kind of carnage. a result of some kind of international war spawning from a yuppie slashing the boundaries of the US and Japan which leads to.. WW 2.1 ...and to keep up on my post whoring techniques.
