Just wondering if anyone knows if I can use a Hard Spare Tire Cover from a 2008 H3X on my 2007 Base Model H3.

I would think it is strictly tire related. It's made to fit a particular size tire.

as far as i understand,they are for the size of the tire

The H3X comes with a rather large 18" tire standard. It has about a 1/4" clearance at the sides so I imagine even a larger tire will fit.

Thanks for the help. I was going to look inot getting one as I like the way they look but I guess it will not fit.

They'll fit just fine - you've gotta look at overall width -- the H3X wheels is bigger, but total circumference is still 32inches. The only time you'd run into any problems is if you had the larger, 33inch tires on your rig. The tire covers can be pretty costly, though.
