I am looking at buying my first H3 and fell in love with a desert orange one.  This is only a 2007 color and am curious whether this should impact resale value later on.  Kids are driving themselves and it is time to get rid of the soccer mom ride.

Instead of moving or removing this duplicate post, I edited this one (hope you don't mind) and left it it the New Member section so everybody could give you a HOWDY.  Go for it, the h3x is a sweet ride.  Welcome and enjoy the forums!!

Don't mind at all.  Thanks.  I am new at this.  I just want to make sure that I am not going to buy a color that later on down the road, I have to ask, what was I thinking!

That color looks sweet to me, but I like my Black.  I do understand your point, I had a two tone light metallic brown (almost looked taupe/rose shade) over dark metalic brown Pontiac back in 1984, what was I thinkin????  Looked cool then, but went out of style (if it was ever in ) pretty quick.

Comments have helped and I searched the forum for others who have the desert orange.  Called the  dealership to give the OK and they are seeing if it is still available for a dealer trade and I should now by tomorrow.  Wish me luck.

Going crazy.  My sales rep is off today and I have not been able to get in touch with him to see if it is available.  0% financing for 60 months ends on October 1rst so I will need to make my move soon.

I got the call a little while ago.  The desert orange one is gone.  The dealership will extend the search tomorrow.  I am thinking I might be just as happy with the metalic slate blue.  Keep you updated.  I'm going to stop thinking so much and jump on my next opportunity.

Hi Dreamin. The Desert Orange is a really cool color. Not sure where you live but if you are anywhere close to Texas or Tennessee the orange would probably be a big seller. The University of Texas and Tennessee have some pretty rabid fans and besides, it is a really cool color. Get what you want and enjoy it.
