looking to put in the Pioneer avic D3 in my 07 h3, I purchesed the base model and want to kick it up a fiew notches, ebay priceing has just the nav unit for 699-899 depending on seller, then i would buy the parts to go with it. I stopped at a local shop today and they priced me out at about 2000$ for the unit, blue tooth, rear cam, and ipod and labor. Is this a good or bad rate? I kinda feel like i can install it my self with the help of the forums..... Im about an hour south of atlanta so if anyone has any tips that would be great.

it's a bit expensive - should be around $1800 (of course, a lot depends on what brand of bluetooth adaptor, rear cam and whether by iPod you mean adaptor, cable or the whole unit itself). to install all this will never be less than $300, and if you add TV tuner and a few adaptors and harnesses that undoubtedly would be needed and are all sold separately, most likely you would have to pay at least $400 just for labor, installation, and over $2000 for all of the units and installation.
