I kept it simple and stayed with the stock wheel, had them powder coated and put on a bigger tire 285/75/R16.

CRNAromeo -

Unfortunately you're SOL. I have searched high and low, and only found hubcentric rings for 108mm-100mm.

There are lots of awesome wheels with 106.25mm bores that would be great candidates otherwise.

While there are some folks on this forum that have had Hummers (or 4x4s in general) for a while, I'm truly amazed that many with aftermarket wheels don't seem to have heard of hubcentric rings, much less use them. While it often isn't an issue at offroad speeds or city driving, a vehicle with perfectly balanced and centered wheels/tires on the highway is a joy to drive, maximizes the life of your rubber, and helps maintain better control of your vehicle at higher speeds. (Sound like an info-mercial?)

Recommend that you stick with the stock wheels or find aftermarket with 6x139.7mm/6x5.5in and either 100.5 or 108mm bore, and one of the following widths/offset:
  • 7.5" width w/ 38mm offset (stock)
  • 8" width w/ 32mm offset (protrudes out 0.5 inch further than stock)
  • 9" width w/ 18mm offset (protrudes out 1.5 inch further than stock)

These will ensure that your inner clearances are no different than stock, and that you aren't significantly increasing the wheel bearing loads that can impact their life long-term. (Maybe only matters if you own and keep your vehicles longer that 7 years or so...)

Maybe someone reading this can help their fellow H3 owners find some 106-100mm hubcentric rings. Or maybe someone looking for a business opportunity will recognize one when they see this...

Good luck!
