After I went to work for a few hours this morning, got home with big plans for the H3. Started by trying to install the new rear bumper guard - couldn't figure out how it mounts - the day is already starting off badly Installed the underbody protection - aside from a few loud swears when I kept droping the spacer , the bolt holes all lined up and it went in without much problem at all. Installed the fender flares and mudflaps - pretty straightforward -didn't have to take any of the wheels off. I had one of those "slap the forehead" moments, though. When installing the forward part of the rear fender flares, I was swearing (again) trying to get the screws started. Got off my knees as my back was killing me and I wanted to see just how far I was going to throw the DeWalt 18V hammerdrill when I reached out and ... opened the door . I hope nobody got that on video. Needless to say, the other side went a bit easier. Mounted the PlusOne light bar. Haven't wired it up yet - had to do some stuff in the house and I'd already spent a good part of the day doing the other stuff. Mounted a Yakima MegaWarrior. I was hoping to find the Ax/Shovel and HiLift jack brakets locally, but no deal. Just bought a new ax and shovel just for the rack. I guess they will have to wait. OK, Here are a few pics and a link to a bunch more: http://s218.photobucket.com/albums/cc160/critcaredoc/Upstate/ Thumbnail Image

ORIGINAL: blackstangs281 You had a busy day.................Sounds cool, but pic's wuld be awesome Sorry, after that I had to install new doorknobs and deadbolts, a garage door opener and keypad, some undercounter lights, a fluorescent fixture over the washer and dryer and an undercounter TV/CD ... oh yeah, I had to do homework for my 7-year old daugther's school (yes it was homework for me), so by the time I got all of that done, it was too dark for pictures. Tomorrow, on the grass, dirt and mud - pictures galore !

Man, I thought my day was busy on my H3 ! .... worked a dirt pad 14' x 22', laid the forms and rebar for the new Hummer Home I'm making for it. Lots of swearing here today too... but in the end it will be worth it on both accounts !

Damn I feel guilty. I woke up late took my chopper to the shop for fluid changes and spent the rest of the day riding.
