Hi folks, I am new to this Forum and also a new H3 owner. This past Monday I picked up my 2008 Graphite Gray H3 Lux. I traded in my 2003 H2 which I bought this month 5 years ago. It was a great 5 years with Ol' Red, but I was ready for a change. It was pushing 70,000 miles and my extended warranty was up.

Thanks for the welcome! The difference in size from my H2 is of course noticeable, but I think I'll like it fine. It is more nimble and easier to maneuver around town which I like. I really enjoyed my H2 and I'm sure I'll love the H3. I looked at other SUVs as well as trucks, but came back to Hummer. Now I jus need to find an avatar.

Great to see you sticking to the Hummer brand regardless of which model you chose... good choice :) Any upgrades in the future? Did you trade in or sell your H2 and bought the H3?

This H3 Lux came with no chrome except for the front grill, which is an unusual combo. I may look into gettiong a black or color matched grill. I'm not into bling. The lower front bumber on the 08 is a flat aluminum color. As far as I know this is only a color change, i.e. I don't think it sticks out any further, but the color kinda makes it look that way. I'm not sure, but I think would like it better black. I traded in my H2. Since I was a return customer to this dealership, they seemed to give me a pretty good deal.
