There are many nice photos and posts showing very nice looking rims and tires on the H3. But it's all spread out in different topics, and the main question is not addressed: if one average driver is to change the stock wheels and rims for something better, what would it be?
"Better" is defined the following way for the tires: quality, performance, durability, braking and/or noise level, and price/value -- and any awards from the likes of ConsumerReports or any automobile magazine helps too. Also, they would need to be All-Season tires, that are equally suitable for Highway and City and mild Off-road driving (I realize the All-Season is a huge compromise, but going through the hassle of changing tires every time there is a long trip on a highway or offroad, snow or rain, is no fun either).
For the Rims, "better" means - weight, durability, sex appeal or WAF, and price/value. Similarly, any awards from the likes of ConsumerReports or any automobile magazine helps too, although it's unlikely there is anything like that.
The color of rims can be either Black or Chrome or a balance of the two. The new set of rims and tires should fit perfectly -- i.e., tires should not rub, shocks and other parts of suspension should not be changed, lowered, adjusted, etc.

However, none of them give any educated suggestions -- everything generally based on the "wow" factor or price. But what about their overall quality, how much weight do they add, etc?
