GorillaH2 -> lowering (9/13/2007 2:21:10 PM)

I want to lower my H2, but I don't want to lower the front and I want to lower the back so the H2 looks straight( instead of torsioning the front because in my opinion it doesn't look good with 28's. I have seen lowered hummers but I dont see a point unless it looks even. Does anyone know of a kit that could do this?

air or spring rear suspension?  if spring, the easy way would be to remove a coil.  not sure what that will do for the ride quality, but i don't think lowered vehicles offer much in comfort anyway.  i think hummbob lowered the princess, so hopefully he'll have some better insight on the whole process.

Thanks for the Intro shorty!![;)]

I have the Ground Force Drop Kit. It lowers it 2" in the front and 3.5" in the back giving it a nice STRAIGHT line!! I really like the kit. I've had it on since last spring!!

There is a specific kit for WITH or WITHOUT rear Air!!

IMO, I don't like the look of a STREET tire on the H2 WITHOUT it being lowered. I think the wheel well is TOO BIG!!!

actually, if i remember correctly, Bob had one of those before, and won some awards with it, so he just wanted a bigger canvas to work on.  i may not wanna do that myself, but if ya got the cash and desire, go for it.  then come follow me and i'll show you all the reasons you shouldn't do it . . . . .[;)]

anybody mind if i steal the term "hooptie" and start using it myself?  it kinda cracks me up[:D]

GorillaH2 -> RE: lowering (9/15/2007 2:15:43 PM)

Thanks hummbob for the info, And RealJeep why would I buy an xb it is too small for my taste and doesnt give an aggressive impression and I just wanted to lower it because the wheels wells are to big and I really dont think there are 37 inch tires for 28 inch rims and it gets a cleaner look. I did look into leveling but like I said it looked to high and didnt fit my taste. My H2 isnt going to hit the dirt trails anytime soon. BTW your use of the word hooptie  is wrong because it means "a beater or old car that is rusty and barely runs". Last time I heard that is an 08' model. So dont be retarded and learn how to talk.

Just because the majority of rappers do it doesnt means its "ghetto". Some people like big chrome rims on suvs that are lowered. Learn how to respect other peoples opinions and not be an inmature kid that thinks that there is only one way to do things( reminds me of my dad) and by the way that yellow h3 that you posted on another thread looks nice and i would drive it over a stock or lifted H3 any day. BTW lifted trucks with big tires make a horrible squealing sounds and they usually have rougher and harder handling because of stiffer sidewall and harder material.
