Trip to the dealer, sounds like a bug.  When I step on mine at 50-55, she screams!!!! and moves strong, best spot in the entire power range.

I agree - I never had a problem accelerating from 50-55mph when I had my '07. Definitely not normal behavior for the I5.

Funny that you mention this because just this morning I got a speeding ticket from a really cool cop on a badass police bike with flashing blue lights.

I was trying to pass this guy who was riding to my right blocking me from changing lanes. Then suddenly I stepped on the gas and I went from 68 to 95 according to the ticket, in a matter of seconds. Then it happened a small blue dot instantly filled my rearview mirror. I pulled over and the cop told me how fast I was going. I tried to play the "It's not possible, it's a Hummer" line and he told me that it was on the radar.

It is just a base model 07 with a 3" lift in the front and the stock GoodYear tires 32" I think.
I wish my Hummer had did what yours did. I think this is going to be expensive.

Just take it in to the dealer, just make sure that there is not debris in your tailpipe, like a potato or something.

That is so funny about the cop thing... I took it on the interstate to show someone what it was doing....and of course it didn't do it....BUT.....there was like cops everywhere.....After reading some old posts last night sounds like it could be the trainey !
Thanks !
