I heard from a reliable source today at my dealer that Toyota is having frame issues with the FJ Cruiser. I guess the frames are cracking in certain spots due to stress. Also, if you off road one it REALLY cracks! I guess they better go back to the drawing board if they want to compete this p.o.s. with an H3!!

Yeah, but you gotta love the part in post 1003 where Toyota told the guy he will not have warranty coverage if he takes it off road!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And to think that Hummer sponsors their own off road events!!

The Steering Shaft has a fix now too and it's under warranty too

Anywyas, I don't think we should be opening a discussion such as this on the forums, it just allows for all out flame wars with other groups.  We have to keep our image

I don't feel the need to laugh at the misfortune of others, no vehicle is perfect. I don't see why people with FJ's think they are superior to those who drive H3's or vice versa. Everyone chooses what vehicle they drive based on their needs and other circumstances.

The troll got what he deserved, however his frame had cracked prior to trolling, that is if we're talking about the guy pretending he wanted to buy an H3 a few weeks ago.

Look at this BS:

http://www.toyota.com/fjcruiser/index.html?s_van=GM_TN_FJ_INDEX

How in the hell can you put a video of the FJ off-roading and then say you don't cover it under warranty going off-roading? What a bunch of hypocrits Toyota is/are.   Idiots.

And then they supposedly have trail teams as well? WTF!
