I noticed alot of traffic about the Turbonetics 2005-up Hummer H3 Turbo Kit. My question is did anyone buy one? Also if you did, how is it working? I'm thinking of buying one and wanted some good feedback.

Turbonetics is a great company, and there is no reason their H3 kit would be any different.

If you're looking for more power, and have the funds, then by all means...

(I noticed you said 2005-up, unfortuantely the kit doesn't work on 2007's.)

The turbo looks nice, but I'm not going to spend that much on a turbo.

Great Info. I don't want to deal with any of the problems that I have read. If the supercharger prices ever come down I might buy one.

IF IT HELPS I HAVE ONE AND IT WORKS GREAT. THE CAR FEELS AND MOVES A LOT FASTER. IF YOU HAVE A GOOD MECHANIC THAT CAN FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND HAS SOME KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT A TURBO IS IT SHOULD BE EASY. IF YOU NEED MORE FEEDBACK I WILL BE HAPPY TO SHARE.

here is the problem with adding a turbo or SC to an h3 that's not an alpha...the aluminum diffs will not handle the added tq or HP. GM has been replacing torn up diffs from stock powered trucks at an alarming rate...now add another 75 hp to the drivetrain and you can guess what will happen.

Well I dont see it as a waste. It depends on the spin you put on it. For some having a turtle on the road does not mean a thing as long as off roading is great. For others like me having a car that actually moves at a normal speed compared to other vehicles and having that off road capability is having the best of both worlds. Now dont get me wrong I am not racing the car left and right, it just has better response when needed, when I dont need it I just cruise. I just have the option. Whenever I need to go fast I use my other car, but that would be for a different brand forum. For now the car is what I expected to be.
