I did contact a few local newspapers and the local tv station and they may do a story about them...so in the long run hopefully I'll at least hurt his reputation.

I ain't skeered

I may end up taking him to court anyway....I left the dealership today with all the figures so I could run some numbers cause something wasn't adding up. The salesman wasn't happy to see me leave and did all but chain the doors to keep me in the place. When I got home and ran the numbers it turns out that they gave me crap for my trade and left me $4500 upside down which they added to the price of the car without telling me

That's why the numbers weren't adding up....so I am back to square one

MY last hope is the dealership I bought my hummer from...I called them today to see what they could do about the trade and getting me into a lease on a CTS. He said he can do something especially cause I am a return buyer.....said he can backload the lease with the amount I am upside down, so I never have to pay it unless I buy the car at the lease end.....if I turn it in I never have to pay the upside down amount.....sounds good but we'll see tomorrow.

well here's the daily update...lol. The dealer I bought my hummer from has agreed to pay for my dodge in full so that I will not be upside down...really cool people!! And they also approved me for a no money down lease on either an 08 CTS or an 08 H3...the CTS would be close to $500 a month and the h3 will be about $430 for a base with nothing added and a 5 speed manual....OUCH!!!! I'd love to have two hummers in the driveway but don't know if I can swing $430 a month for a second vehicle...especially with all the diapers and formula I'm gonna have to buy for the next few years

Either way, that's COOL for your HUMMER Dealer to at least step up to the plate!!!

I highly recommend buying whatever you think will have the highest resale value in 5 years.... that way you can trade up....

What's the sticker on a CTS? I thought a lease would be cheaper than that.

They're both relatively high demand cars, no? Especially the CTS. They have any leftovers of either that they'd make you a deal on?

Since it's a lease, you don't need to really worry about long term residual.

If you think about it, though, the $430 per month might be a paid, but it's the same as if you dropped $3000 down now and paid $330 per month for the lease. But instead of that, you keep the $3K in your pocket.

I'd love a stick H3, by the way. That's what my brother has and it's awesome.

sticker is around $34-37,000

I was shocked at how much they wanted also...the 2008 cts's are entirely new cars..new body and new interior....I like the 07's better but they have none left.

I asked if we could end my h3 lease early and trade my blue truck...then lease an alpha.....after some number crunching he called me back......$645 a month!!! Dear lord, I almost chocked on my coffee
