i have a 2002 h1 and have had this clicking like sound coming from the driver rear now for about 2 months. Sounds like when you lighty bang two metals against each other but only does it once. It will do it it you lift on the rear bumper and the push it back down but only once on way up and once on way down. While you are driving also as truck suspension moves up and down. I have taken it to 3 dealers and no one can figure it out. has anyone had this problem or who anything. Noise is freakin annoying!!

I went through a very similar problem with my H1. I went to two dealers and they couldn’t find what the clicking sound was. I wasn’t surprised, if the problem doesn’t have an error code associated with it the dealers aren’t much help.
I ended up taking it to a small garage; they put my H1 on a lift and walked around under it with a rubber mallet hitting it in different places. They hit one location that made the clicking sound. Once they identified where the noise was coming from the investigated further and found a small crack in one of my heat shields. About two seconds with the arc welder and the problem was 100% solved.

Hope this helps.
