After reading previous posts about the MPG people got on their first tanks I was worried. My first tank wasn't to bad. 14.2 and that was 95% city driving.

My first tank was in the 14s also (although not exact, because I don't know how much gas the dealer had in it). My second tank was around 16 mpg.

Now at 10,000 miles I'm getting in the high 17s. Last 3 tanks were 17.9, 16.1, 17.8 mpg. Mostly highway. It may be that these engines need to run in a bit.

My first tank was 16.5 mpg and my second dropped to 15. I am a few days away from tank number three. My driving is a mix of city and highway. Tank two was city heavy though so the drop makes sense.

I filled up with my second tank full last night, on the first tank with mostly all city driving (with a lot of stop and go traffic) I got 15.1 miles to the gallon. I was hoping for a little better, but overall it's not bad for the weight and bulk of the H3. At least GM pays for 1 dollar of every gallon I buy for the next year.[:)]
