Ok... so i swore my modding days were done and I was leaving the H3 stock.... So here I am.... have had the H3 less than 3 weeks and I'm already chaning the tires! LOL!  We've been off-roading with the H3 for the past 3 weekends and the family loves it!  Well, my 3 year old just LOVES SPLASHING IN THE MUD!! So.... I stopped at the tire shop today...

Went with the Hankooks MT 285/75/16s....    Can't wait to try them out!!!

Tires are not a mod.... they are consumables.... you would have had to replace them someday anyways....

Looks nice.....

Discount Tire???  Nice boots, look good.  I'm in the process of consuming my stock 33" Duelers  for something a little more aggressive, mabey one size wider?  Keep the rubber side down Bro.

I'm interested in the Hankook name.... before I got my new 07 work van I had never heard of them... so I assumed they were a fleet tire... now I see then with a mud terrain.  They work well on a 9000lb van... 17,600 miles and they still look like the day I got the van.

Anybody know more about them?

That article was one of the few REAL reviews I could find...  Was enough to convince me to give the Hankooks a try...

I won't be able to give these guys are real workout in the mud for a couple of weeks...  i will say that on pavement they are really well behaved... nice ride quality and noise level in the H3 is more than acceptable...

mmhmm...did you use that same justification with the wife?

"Honey, you know our son loves splashing in the mud. You wan't our son to have fun, don't you?  You do love our son, don't you?"
